INO Records Signs Agreement with Promo Only MPE
Vancouver, BC – January 27, 2006 – Destiny Media Technologies, Inc today announced that they will provide promotional digital distribution for Christian music label INO Records and S/R/E Recordings. The Promo Only MPE™ System will provide INO/SRE with a complete internal and external digital distribution solution for new singles as well as full albums, music videos and other promotional material.
INO and S/R/E have used Promo Only MPE™ to aide in the distribution of tracks to radio stations throughout North America since the summer of 2005. In addition to continuing the labels’ traditional methods of servicing physical product, Promo Only MPE™ will further advance INO and S/R/E’s distribution efforts with the immediate release of all singles, re-mixes and alternate mixes through the MPE™ system to domestic and international stations. Advance releases of full albums will also now be distributed through the Promo Only MPE™ system, allowing media outlets to receive music in as timely manner as possible.
“We are delighted to have signed a contract with INO,” said Dean Ernst, director of Promo Only MPE™. “The Christian labels have been highly responsive to this new technology and quick to embrace the Promo Only MPE™ System. We have forged a great relationship with INO since we started the summer of 2005 and this contract is testimony to that.”
“Promo Only MPE™ will allow us to better serve our artists, retail, media and radio partners by providing immediate high quality distribution of our music,” said Dan Michaels, INO/SRE’s VP of Promotions and Marketing. “We can literally pick up an audio master from the studio and have that artists’ music available nationwide within just a few moments. That’s great for everyone involved.”
