Mediacaster Magazine: Destiny Delivers Streaming Video without Content Delivery Network

An article in Mediacaster magazine summarizes Destiny's new Clipstream solution, featuring quotes from CEO Steve Vestergaard.

Rather than being “an ad for YouTube”, publishers and content owners can host, deliver and lock down their own content with the Clipstream system, Vestergaard told Mediacaster Magazine. It will support self-managed as well as more turnkey solutions, which will be priced along the lines of a monthly cellphone plan, based on storage usage, media impressions and other factors. He says the pricing will be relatively inexpensive, as offerings and profits are based on volume.
