Promo Only MPE Delivers BSB Track to Radio Four Days Ahead of CD; Leading Digital Distribution System Marks 1800 Users Registered to Date


VANCOUVER, British Columbia --- April 5, 2005---Destiny Media Technologies (OTCBB:DSNY) announced today that Jive Records/ Zomba Label Group has delivered, via the Promo Only MPE System, the newest single from The Backstreet Boys forthcoming album "Never Gone" slated for release in June. Promo Only MPE sent the track "Incomplete" through the Internet up to four days before the arrival of the physical CD to radio. Promo Only also announced that it hasover 1800 users registered to its proprietary digital delivery system.

Promo Only MPE is a highly sophisticated security system, which locks down the distributed content and allows labels to track who is accessing their property. Each song is uniquely encrypted so that only those with the Promo Only MPE software can access it. In addition, an ID code specific to each individual user is applied when a song is requested; meaning that only registered users can access the song and, once installed, the ID cannot be moved to any other computer.
