Clipstream® Cloud

We’ve been selling streaming for sixteen years and Clipstream® branded playerless streaming for twelve yearsand over time have talked to a lot of customers. Initially, we were selling to “early adopters” who were technically proficient, but over time we found that customers wanted more and more service. This is evidenced by the wide variety of new media companies and service bureaus that create, encode, host, manage and report on rich media content. We also found they want a “one stop shop” where all of their content, including images, documents, video, audio, etc. are managed by the same provider.

To that end, we are creating a self serve offering aimed at the marketing professional in a corporation who needs to create and manage digital content, but who would prefer to avoid going through their own internal IT department and its associated bureaucracy.

Features:

  1. Youtube for Business: The user can upload any type of digital asset to their account. If it is audio or video, it will automatically be encoded into the Clipstream® format by our server where it can be played back without a player on 100% of browsers on all devices and computers using our new pending patent.
  2. Asset Management: All content types can be uploaded and will be automatically filed into virtual folders based on date and asset type. Users can add an unlimited number of tags to organize the content. A virtual folder will be created for each tag, automatically organizing the assets to enable easy access later.
  3. Syndication: Content can be embedded in third-party locations, such as in the comment section of a blog, a website, within an email, etc., but because it is secretly coming off of our servers, it can be tightly controlled. For example, Coke could do a viral email campaign where a Coke can appears as product placement and get detailed statistics on who accessed the content and when. Alternatively, a record label could send a new music video out to cyberspace, then suddenly have it stop working at the end of a thirty day promotional period.
  4. Rollover advertising: users will be able to match audio and graphics and videos to create rich advertising as demonstrated in the Clipstream® format at http://www.clipstreamad.com
  5. Telephone streaming: members can call our telephone number, leave a message and their recording will show up in their account as a stream.
  6. High volume ad serving: Our infrastructure will support creating an ad on our system and embedding it as an ad to be shown many millions of times. Because Clipstream® uses up to 90% less bandwidth, we can do this at margin.
  7. Securing content: an individual asset can be watermarked, locked or restricted to an individual IP address or a list of user name password combinations.
  8. Selling content: in the future, digital content can be tied to an e-commerce process, common across members.
  9. Template driven email: users can create and share templates (resumes, Christmas cards, newsletters, etc.) which are automatically populated with assets to create rich emails. The system will allow them to manage recipient lists and the system will do bulk email sending to that list.
  10. Large Email Attachments: Companies like Yousendit and Rapidshare have built businesses around distributing large content files as a link. Cloud assets will automatically be accessible as a link which can be sent by email or accessed by a webpage.
  11. Virtual website: All members will get a virtual website: ex. clipstream.com/membername/virtualfoldername/virtualsubfoldername
